The Videogame Club
The Video Game and Design Club at the University of Denver is comprised of students with backgrounds and interests ranging the full spectrum of multimedia and design. The members not only focus on the design and interaction with video games but create a network of artists, programmers and designers that they take with them once they have finished their time at the university and move onto careers in the industry.
Research at DU: Pitch Black
An open problem in networking is the secure, efficient and fully decentralized routing of information in large-scale networks, in particular in networks where most of the nodes are not directly connected. On the Internet, the most common reason for nodes not being able to communicate directly are users behind a NAT-box or firewall. With most NATs, it is impossible for another user to contact the NAT'ed host.
