Molly Bang inspired exercises

Exercise 1:

Make a scary picture about a person being attacked by a big cat. Use only cut paper, no lines, no drawing, just paper and scissors. Use 3 colors plus white. Keep shapes simple as possible. Rearrange shapes, change them, experiment with the colors, scale, spatial relationships. Feel free to help one another.

Exercise 2:

Make a digital drawing of the same scene using a drawing tool of your choice. Use the same simple shapes and the same three colors. Use layers for moving things in front or behind. Make sure you set up your drawing so that you can easily move and resize all the elements. Once you have the image down, save it.
